GMAT Graduate Management Admission Test


GMAT Exams are available at Computer Based testing centers nationwide. The GMAT Exam is NOT given at CSU San Bernardino.

The GMAT Exam is designed to assess knowledge and skills relevant to graduate schools of management.

What is the purpose of the GMAT?


The GMAT measures basic (1) Verbal, (2) Mathematical, and (3) Analytical Writing skills relevant to graduate study. Eligibility for admission to a Graduate Program is usually based upon your GMAT Score and your college GPA. For more information on Graduate Studies requirements please contact the department to which you are applying.

Who must take the GMAT?


The GMAT is taken by individuals applying to graduate schools of management.

When should the GMAT be taken?


Each Graduate Dept has specific deadlines for submission of test scores. You should therefore allow appropriate time for the receipt of scores by the graduate department.

How do I prepare for the GMAT?


ETS will send you a copy of GMAT Powerprep software on CD-ROM when you register for the Exam. This software can also be downloaded at the GMAT web site. Powerprep software contains sample questions and actual computer adaptive tests.

When will the GMAT be given?


The GMAT is usually given year round.

How do I register for the GMAT?


Register early to get your preferred test date, November through January are extremely crowded months for testing. You may register for the GMAT by phone, online, or mail. Please contact GMAT for more registration information.
